Are you Earning the Most from your House Cleaning Business?

It's great when you have a base of clients you service on a regular schedule. And if you're running your house cleaning business for maximum profit, then you know you have to have a base set of tasks that you perform. But how can you earn more from these clients? After all it costs you advertising dollars to go out and get more customers.

Why should you have a base set of tasks? Because if you don't, your client is always going to ask for more, and they won't want to pay for it.

When your client asks for extra tasks to be done during their scheduled service, you need to be ready with a way to charge for these extras. Time is money and I'm sure you have already quoted them a standard fee for their regular service; so the extra fee is justified.

Take some time and make a list of extra jobs that you could offer your clients: -Chandeliers - Tall Book Shelves - Pot Shelves - Washer/Dryer Cleanout - Front/Back Patio Cleaning - China Cabinet

If you live near any retirement neighborhoods, they are very good prospects for these extra jobs. Now put the jobs you want to offer on a separate rate sheet. Next time someone asks you to do one of these jobs in the middle of your scheduled appointment, you'll be ready to offer them a scheduled appointment to complete the work and make extra money.

If you always give away service, you will never grow your house cleaning business. To grow your business, you must always be thinking ahead for ways you can improve your service and increase your profits.
