The room was very colourful and everyone was having fun. So many beautiful ladies around. I have personally approached two of the ladies for a dance but they refused. I took it personally. I headed for the lounge area, gave up on dancing for the night.
My best friend principle is very different. He cares less what other people think of him being rejected. He's a very bold and persistent person. For the whole night he was dancing with different women.
The lesson was learnt. After the party i asked him how he manage to persuade them like that. His answer amazed me, it's a combination of so many things we need to learn in life to do just about anything.
Some of these techniques include persistence
action
get out of your comfort zone
don't judge anyone
belief that you are lovable
it's a number game
never worry about what others think - only think of the benefits
don't jump from one to another
and so on.
I remained silence as i pondered over his statement. That was one of the most important lessons i have learnt in a very long time. Few years later i still use it for my everyday life and to build my network marketing business.
Network marketing and any other home business require serious efforts and persistence. Never take NO for an answer.
