Ten Steps Guide for Newbies

Step Four: Creating Ebook Outline

The ebook authors are claiming that this is the most important step in the entire ebook creation process. If you try to skip it you'll probably never finish your book.

The good outline means that your book is almost ready. So, take your time and put diligent efforts to create an outline. It may take up to 2 days, but don't spent more on that.

Write as many chapters and subchapters title as you can. Why we have to do that? A good detailed outline, will give you very easy flow of the thoughts. All you have to do after that is to write few paragraphs under each subtitle.

How to create the Outline? - Read some of the outlines in your niche books. You know what kind of problems needs to be solved from the forums, you have been visiting. Use that information to crate titles and subtitles of the chapters within the outline. Use the exact words and formulations from the forums. That is very important for the success of your ebook.

Divide the problem solving into different steps. This is how you'll create your chapters. Use your knowledge and common sense when creating those steps. For example every process contains the following basic steps:

* collecting information

* making a decision

* creating a plan

* executing the plan

* make the necessary corrections

* deliver your product

You may find that the above steps could be your chapter's titles and that is fine.

Now you have to create 2-4 subtopics on each of the above steps. Think about what is the most important thing to be done in order to complete that particular step. In fact when you start writing on the topics you'll find much easier to go into more details and create some more subtopics.

So, don't get stuck here. Jot 2-3 ideas as a subtitle and move ahead.

A typical structure of a book will contain:

* Cover Sheet with Title, Author and Copy write statement

* Table of Content

* Introduction

* Chapters

* Summary

* Resources Section

If you invest a good amount of efforts on this step you have chance to overcome easily so called Writers Block and to create your ebook effortlessly.

Once you are done with the Outline it's time to start writing.
