When you were a child, did you ever make a large
snowball and roll it down a steep hill?
You were probably amazed out how it kept gathering
more snow as it traveled and the faster it went.
I can remember doing that as a child. I grew up
living in the country where we had plenty of snow
and a lot of steep hills.
My Brothers and I played out in the snow a lot.
We would go outside as soon as we had our breakfast
and a lot of days it was supper time when we came
back into our house.
Marketing is a lot like us rolling those snowballs
down those steep hills.
When first starting to market online it seems an
impossible task to get visitors not to mention
purchasers.
I have found that the longer I keep marketing the
easier it gets. The reason for that is that when you
continually market, send your newsletter, post articles
the better know you become.
People start trusting you, that is if you are trust worthy
and if you are not you will not last very long. The main
thing is to not get disgusted and give up.
Just like the snowball, you will get bigger and bigger
as you roll along. It does get easier as you go, not
harder.
I know this to be a fact as I am into my seventh year
marketing online. As you gain knowledge you will find
it does go smoother and easier.
