7 Fun Baby Shower Games

If you are the hostess for an upcoming baby shower, here are some fun and easy baby shower games that you can have your guests play.

1. Baby Picture Guessing Game: Have all the shower attendees bring a baby picture. Display them on a large poster and have the guests match the shower attendees with their baby picture. Whoever guesses the most correctly wins!

2. Don't Say Baby: With this game, the object is to not say the word "baby". Upon arriving at the baby shower, each guest is given a diaper safety pin. Each guest then tries to catch another guest saying the word "baby". When they do, they then take the safety pin from the other person. Whoever collects the safety pins wins!

3. Word Scramble: On a sheet of paper list 10 words having to do with babies (i.e. pregnancy, blanket, pacifier, bottle, diaper, etc.). Then, scramble the letters of each word. Give each guest a copy of the scrambled word list and a pencil. Set a timer for 2 minutes and see how many each guest can correctly unscramble!

4. Measure Mom: Using a ball of string, each guest cuts off a length which they think will accurately measure around the pregnant mom's belly. After each guest has cut off a length of string, they take turns putting the string about the pregnant mommy's belly. Whoever guesses closest wins!

5. Memory Game: On a serving tray lay out 10 to 12 items having to do with babies such as baby rattles, baby spoon, bib, diaper, bottle, jar of baby food, etc. Cover the tray with a towel. Give guests 15 seconds to study the tray and then cover it back up. Give everyone a sheet of paper and have them write down as many items as they can remember. The winner of the game is the one who correctly recalls the most items.

6. Guess By Touch Game: Take 10 brown paper lunch bags. In each bag place an item related to babies such as diaper, toy, bib, bottle, baby Mylicon drops, etc. Number each bag 1-10. To play the game, provide each guest with a sheet of a paper numbered 1-10. The guest feels the bag and writes down their guess of what is in the bag. The guest who correctly guesses the most correct items wins.

7. Baby Bottle Jelly Bean Guess: Take a baby bottle and fill it with jelly beans. You will have to count how many you put in. Guests take turns estimating how many jelly beans are in the bottle. Closest guess wins the bottle of jelly beans.
