1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how self-disciplined are you? Can you set your own deadlines?
2. How many hours will you devote to your online business each day? What sacrifices will you have to make in order to allocate that amount of time?
3. Do you like working alone?
4. Is it hard for you to take responsibility for your mistakes?
5. Are you organized? Do you have a good system in place for paperwork, invoices, taxes, etc.?
6. Are you ready to take on a multitude of tasks (or do you have a plan - as well as the funds - to delegate them?) Do you tend to procrastinate tasks you find to be less-than-fun?
7. Do you have a plan for childcare while you work?
8. Do you have a place in your home set apart for your business?
9. Do you have a good support system of friends and family, as well as social outlets for the feelings of isolation that typically follow a shift into a home office?
10. How long are you willing to work on your business before a paycheck arrives?
11. Do you have a financial "cushion" in place - money you can spend on your business just in case it takes longer than you planned to collect those paychecks? How about money for living expenses?
